The British Jesuit Archives collects, preservers and makes available records concerning the Jesuits in Britain. The Archives primarily holds material relating to the Jesuits in Britain including records of the Provincial Curia, Jesuit communities, parishes, Province works, personal papers, and material relating to the overseas missionary work of the Province including South Africa and Guyana, as well as a large rare books collection. The presentation will begin with an overview of the collection and then consider some of the ways by which the archives has been sharing its contents and raising its profile over the past few years, whilst highlighting some of the items of potential interest to researchers.
